A classic, box-quilted style coat, the ICEGUARD COAT is not only extremely warm but windproof, too, courtesy of the super-lightweight, high tearstrength STORMLOCK ACTIVE RIPSTOP shell fabric. Beneath the shell, a thick layer of MICROGUARD SILVER provides superb insulation, an interlining material that delivers a nicely balanced and warm wear climate, even in lower temperatures, and was originally developed for use in our high performance sleeping bags. The longer, knee-length cut and internal cold block fleece cuffs contribute to the effectiveness of this “winter heating system”.
