Materials Spec

• POLYESTER 75D (4000 mm) flysheet.This versatile synthetic fibre absorbs only 0.5% of its own weight in moisture and thus holds its shape well, even when wet. Also highly UV-resistant, it is durable and is easily coated or laminated.
• inner tent of POLYESTER 75 D BREATHABLE, a lightweight, very fast drying, air and vapour permeable polyester fabric.
• The groundsheet material of this tent consists of HYDROFILM POLYESTER 150D, a special lightweight polyester material with a high tearstrength and a durably waterproof coating. The coating has a water column specification of 10,000mm.
• DAC REVERSE COMBI poles developed by renowned aluminium specialists at DAC. The special characteristic of the aluminium poles is the use of variable diameter sections that slot seamlessly inside one another. The middle (roof) section of the pole has a diameter of 11.1mm, in order to withstand the forces that occur in the roof area of the tent. This tapers to 9.5mm towards the end of the pole where it approaches the groundsheet. The 7001 T6 aluminium alloy is used provides the optimum blend of strength and flexibility. When compared to classic dome tents, the poles have much wider radius and a more acute angle at the point where they meet the ground. This helps them to remain flexible during strong winds and gales, gives them better shape recovery and delivers greater strength in the roof section of the tent.
• FAST PITCH system The innovative FAST PITCH system from aluminium tent pole specialists DAC makes pitching simpler and faster. Combined with our REAL DOME TECHNOLOGY it also provides increased pitch stability. The system is made up of the following: a) a completely connected pole system with a CONNECTOR at the intersection point in the apex of the dome that holds the pole sections together. b) easy to use CLIP tent attachment system to connect the inner tent to the poles. c) FAST PITCH pole foot and BALL END pole cap for simple pitching.
