Velocity 12 - Black

Compact, lightweight and fully featured, this sports-styled bike pack has space for tools, provisions and windproof clothing. Bike-specific detailing includes a helmet lashing cord, pump attachment, LED lamp attachment and safety reflective elements. The ACS TIGHT carry system is perfect for fast-action sports and combines a stable, full-contact carry with breathable materials and a central air duct for climate controlled carry comfort. Integral raincover included.

Features

  • ACS TIGHT. The ACS Tight system (ACS = Air Comfort System) is featured on rucksacks designed for high octane activities. It ensures that the rucksack remains close to the body while allowing excellent freedom of movement. The materials used are moisture and air permeable.A vertical channel allows warm, moist air produced by the body to escape upwards and keeps contact surfaces to a minimum. Two flexible aluminium ribs help the pack retain its shape and flexible plates located beneath the back pad prevent hard items pressing through.
  • NAILHEAD 420D. Light, extremely durable nylon, used in our rucksacks. When viewed in cross-section, it has prominent projections resembling nail heads. In the event of abrasion, the nail heads protect the material underneath.
  • CROSS RIP 300D. A very light polyamide fabric with a high tearstrength rating, it is used for Jack Wolfskin Trekking and Hiking rucksacks. The light-weight nylon fabric is inter-woven with ripstop reinforcement threads every few millimetres. This type of construction saves weight and is very robust.
  • ARMATECH PLUS 600D. The fine, dense weave of this material gives it extreme durability. Produced from 100% polyester, it is colourfast, highly UV-resistant, and will readily accept a durable waterproof coating. Employed as a base material in rucksacks, daypacks and accessories, it is woven from 600 Denier thread.
  • CROSSLINK PE. A special toughened polyethylene material, used as a back plate in the ACS TIGHT carry system. The back plate stops hard items pressing through without restricting freedom of movement. Ventilation openings prevent the build up of warm, moist air produced by the body.
