The SHORT SYSTEM ZIP allows instant combination with a compatible short fleece jacket for a full-spec, 4-season upgrade. Venting pit zips provide fresh air during sweaty activities and the adjustable hood can be detached and stowed in its own special pouch inside the jacket.
BASIC HOODThis button/zip-off hood extends deep into the collar area to deliver reliable foul weather protection. When detached, the hood stows away neatly in its own dedicated inner pouch.1. It is located inside the waterproof layer of the jacket but is accessible from outside beneath the double storm flap covering the front zip.Additional underarm ventilation feature, but relocated and now positioned slightly further back and into the upper arm area. The ventilation is thus more efficient and there are no uncomfortable zips in the underarm area. The Velcro-fix storm flaps can be opened and fixed in place to prevent involuntary closure. TEXAPORE SMOOTHLIGHT 2L is a waterproof and breathable fabric that is characterised by its super-soft, rustle free finish. The face fabric consists of a fine grade nylon twill with a matt look. In spite of its low intrinsic weight (158g/m²) the material is durably robust. A microporous PU coating is applied to the inner surface, which delivers an MVTR of 9.000g/m²/24h.
