Function and flair are combined in this premium quality hiking jacket. The new RUBY STAR women’s 3-in-1 jacket has an attractive, distinctively feminine style. The outer garment is tailored from silky-soft TEXAPORE COMFORT 2L and delivers breathable weather protection the whole year round. The jacket is equipped with two secure side pockets and Jack Wolfskin’s signature “Secret Pocket”. The hood is detachable and stows away neatly in its own special inner pocket. The highlight is the colour-coordinated, fitted style inner jacket in new NANUK 200 SILKLOFT, a soft fleece fabric with a silky sheen, whose high-loft construction delivers outstanding, low bulk insulation performance.
BASIC HOODThe hood is attached to the collar of the jacket by means of press studs. When not required, the hood can be detached and stowed in a special pouch (HOOD POCKET) inside the jacket. The hood is anatomically shaped and has drawcord-adjustable volume and field of vision options. HOOD POCKETA special inner pocket in the jacket, in which the detached hood can be securely stowed. The pocket has a Velcro closure tab. ARTICULATED ELBOWSThe elbow of the garment is anatomically tailored to conform to the natural biomechanics of the elbow, thus significantly improving freedom of movement. SHORT SYSTEM ZIPA short SYSTEM ZIP that provides the interface to combine an inner and an outer jacket. Incorporated into JACK WOLFSKIN's blouson style 3-in-1 jackets. The front zip of inner jacket is exactly compatible with the secondary zip on the shell jacket for easy docking. Various fleece or insulated inner jackets can be combined to suit the potential activity and the prevailing climatic conditions. SECRET POCKETA secure, weather-protected pocket for important papers and documents. The pocket zip is positioned between the front zip of the jacket and its weatherproof covering flap. This design means the pocket is not only hidden from view but can also be accessed without having to zip open the jacket. The contents are well protected from the rain, since the pocket is located behind the protective shell of the jacket. 3-IN-1-JACKETThe 3-in-1 jacket consists of a waterproof and breathable TEXAPORE shell jacket teamed with a removable fleece/ insulated inner jacket, which docks with the shell garment by means of a SYSTEM ZIP. Since each garment can also be worn as a stand-alone jacket, this gives you a total of five different wear options: 1. Shell jacket and inner jacket combined: full-spec winterproof weather protection and insulation. 2. Shell jacket alone: weather protective functionality. 3. Inner jacket alone: lightweight and comfortable insulation. Each component in the system has a mutually compatible cut, fabrics and detailing.
