JACK WOLFSKIN present a world first innovation in the rucksack product sector. The alpine day tour pack, the TRAVERSE PACK, features the patented EXIT AIR TECHNOLOGY, a unique pack ventilation system. The core element of the system is a revolutionary ventilation duct that runs through the packsack and exits externally. This is integrated into the rucksack between the main and base compartments and expels damp, warm air from the lumbar region. This improves the microclimate of the carry significantly, and is supported by a central, vertically aligned ventilation duct and padded contact surfaces made of breathable closed cell foam and covered in breathable fabric. Result: your back stays noticeably drier, the risk of overheating is diminished and your physical performance is unimpaired. The pack also delivers the crucial full contact fit and secure load control required during carries over difficult and physically demanding terrain. The high-end fixtures and fittings include a variety of pockets and lashing options and an integrated raincover. The pack is fully prepped for use with an on-board hydration system.
POLE FIXATIONIce tool/trekking pole attachment loops with a wide velcro closure flap which remains highly resistant to icing up. An additional woven loop makes them easy to operate when gloved-up. The VELCROLOCK system is not threaded loosely though the daisy chain on the packbag but held securely in place by Velcro.BUNGEE CORDA length of flexible elasticated cord attached to the front or lid of the rucksack and adjusted with a cord grip. Used to attach clothing or items equipment for fast access, such as a fleece or rainwear.PREPARED FOR HYDRATIONCompatible with and prepared to accept the JACK WOLFSKIN drinks system. A flat format pouch on the inside of the main compartment of the pack accepts a HYDRATION BLADDER. The pack also features an opening for the drinks tube and a clip attachment on the shoulder strap to fix the tube in position.RAINCOVER INSIDEA special compartment, usually located at the base of the rucksack or photo pack, contains a waterproof PU-coated, sealed-seam rain cover in 210 D-Polyester. This can be pulled over the rucksack when required to provide effective protection from weather and dust without covering the carry system itself.Snow LockThe upper opening of the rucksack is protected by an additional 'snow collar' made from lightweight, waterproof coated polyamide fabric. This prevents water and snow penetration when the pack is open. On packs with extendible lids, the Snow Lock also provides a useful volume expansion option.EXIT AIR TECHNOLOGYSafety WhistleARMATECH PLUS 600D The fine, dense weave of this material gives it extreme durability. Produced from 100% polyester, it is colourfast, highly UV-resistant, and will readily accept a durable waterproof coating. Employed as a base material in rucksacks, daypacks and accessories, it is woven from 600 Denier thread.
