Lightweight weatherproof pants designed for Nordic ski sport and tailored from STORMLOCK RIPSTOP NANO-PEL, a windproof-coated fabric that has been nano-technology enhanced at the molecular level to provide durable dirt and snow repellence, and featuring a breathable FIELDSENSOR mesh lining for 'no-sweat' moisture management functionality and lightweight insulation. The generous cut of the pants easily accommodates further insulating layers and delivers unimpaired freedom of movement. Integrated gaiters prevent snow penetration. ARTICULATED KNEESA design feature of our trekking pants and weatherproof trousers, where the knee of the garment is anatomically tailored to conform to the natural biomechanics of the knee, thus significantly improving freedom of movementGAITERFeatured on our ski pants and weatherproof trousers, this integrated gaiter on the lower leg prevents snow and damp penetration from below. The gaiter is equipped with a rubberized stretch hem to prevent slippage and a Velcro closure system.STORMLOCK RIPSTOP An extremely lightweight ripstop fabric (48g/m2) made from polyamide yarn with a very thin, microporous PU coating that renders the material windproof, durably water repellent and highly breathable. Using NANO-PEL technology, the nylon yarn is structurally modified at the nano, or sub-micron, level to prevent particles of water, dirt or grease adhering to the material. |
