A very lightweight tarp/tent combo for the FAST & LIGHT hiker, providing adequate weather protection in moderate conditions. It consists of a pentagonal waterproof tarp with curved edges and a seperate inner tent made from mosquito mesh, which can be pitched using either the telescopic central rigging pole supplied or, to save even more weight, with a tree branch or trekking pole. Each component can also be used on its own, as a lightweight rain tarp or for mosquito protection.
