A fully-featured, cropped style hiking jacket with the smooth, rustle-free finish of TEXAPORE SMOOTHLIGHT 2L. The SHORT SYSTEM ZIP allows instant combination with a compatible short fleece jacket for a full-spec, 4-season upgrade. Venting pit zips provide fresh air during sweaty activities and the adjustable hood can be detached and stored in its own special pouch inside the jacket.
ZIP SYSTEMThe ZIP SYSTEM incorporated into certain trouser models gives you several different wear options. You can remove the legs of the trousers for instant conversion to shorts or 3/4 length trousers without having to remove your footwear. Some models feature two zips, one on the lower leg and one on the thigh, which gives you three possible combinations. The Zip SYSTEM allows you to adapt your legwear whilst on the move to suit the changing weather and temperature conditions with having to carry additional clothing in your rucksack. Covering flaps inside and out help prevent chafing and hide the zip neatly. VENT PRO SYSTEMThe VENT PRO SYSTEM is a generic term for various ventilation options on our weather protection jackets, trekking pants and shirts, which delivers a flow of fresh air at protected areas of the garment and significantly enhances the wear comfort: 1. Venting pit zips: zip-adjustable air vents located in the weather-protected underarm region of many of our jackets and soft shells. 2. Thigh vents: some of our trousers incorporate zip-adjustable air vents on the outside of the thighs. 3. Back panel vents: shirts with the VENT PRO SYSTEM feature an air vent in the back panel, which is generally backed with a breathable mesh fabric. BASIC HOODThe hood is attached to the collar of the jacket by means of press studs. When not required, the hood can be detached and stowed in a special pouch (HOOD POCKET) inside the jacket. The hood is anatomically shaped and has drawcord-adjustable volume and field of vision options. HOOD POCKETA special inner pocket in the jacket, in which the detached hood can be securely stowed. The pocket has a Velcro closure tab. ARTICULATED ELBOWSThe elbow of the garment is anatomically tailored to conform to the natural biomechanics of the elbow, thus significantly improving freedom of movement. SHORT SYSTEM ZIPA short SYSTEM ZIP that provides the interface to combine an inner and an outer jacket. Incorporated into JACK WOLFSKIN's blouson style 3-in-1 jackets. The front zip of inner jacket is exactly compatible with the secondary zip on the shell jacket for easy docking. Various fleece or insulated inner jackets can be combined to suit the potential activity and the prevailing climatic conditions. SECRET POCKETA secure, weather-protected pocket for important papers and documents. The pocket zip is positioned between the front zip of the jacket and its weatherproof covering flap. This design means the pocket is not only hidden from view but can also be accessed without having to zip open the jacket. The contents are well protected from the rain, since the pocket is located behind the protective shell of the jacket. |
