Hardcore outdoor functionality in an urban context. The waist length MANHATTAN is not only superbly comfortable, it is waterproof and winterproof, too, courtesy of the new TEXAPORE TWILLSUEDE material. Developed specifically for our URBAN OUTDOOR line, this soft twill fabric has its own unique look and a velvety matt finish that belies the solid functionality of a waterproof and breathable microporous coating. The jacket also benefits from a NANUK 200 fleece lining for effective cold weather protection and is equipped with a detachable hood that can be neatly stowed in its own special pouch.
BASIC HOODThe hood is attached to the collar of the jacket by means of press studs. When not required, the hood can be detached and stowed in a special pouch (HOOD POCKET) inside the jacket. The hood is anatomically shaped and has drawcord-adjustable volume and field of vision options. HOOD POCKETA special inner pocket in the jacket, in which the detached hood can be securely stowed. The pocket has a Velcro closure tab. ARTICULATED ELBOWSThe elbow of the garment is anatomically tailored to conform to the natural biomechanics of the elbow, thus significantly improving freedom of movement. SECRET POCKETA secure, weather-protected pocket for important papers and documents. The pocket zip is positioned between the front zip of the jacket and its weatherproof covering flap. This design means the pocket is not only hidden from view but can also be accessed without having to zip open the jacket. The contents are well protected from the rain, since the pocket is located behind the protective shell of the jacket. |
