This warm lined, deconstructed style weatherproof jacket will appeal to those who want a technical garment with a classic textile look. The shell material, TEXAPORE FUNCTION 65, is a robust hybrid fabric designed for tough trekking use and benefitting from a weatherproof TEXAPORE membrane. It has a natural, textile touch and gives outstanding protection from the rain, snow and wind. The jacket has a longer drape and is tailored for comfort, while the smooth lining allows you to slip it on and off easily over a base or mid-layer garment. A total of six pockets provides ample storage space.
Encouraged by the successful introduction of our GORE-TEX FUNCTION 65 2 layer material in Summer 2003, our Summer 2004 Collection sees the addition of a laminated TEXAPORE FUNCTION 65 version. This hybrid fabric is the functional synthesis of two tried and tested JACK WOLF-SKIN performance materials. It is constructed as a 2-ply laminate (the FUNCTION 65 face material is coated directly with TEXAPORE) or as a Z-Liner (TEXAPORE coating on a base material incorporated as a loose hung lining behind the shell material). 65% Polyester/ 35% cotton hybrid laminate material with a no-pore PU membrane Filling: POLYFILL 80g/m2 An insulating fill material made from polyester fibres. Incorporated as a thermal bonded fleece material in various weights per square metre/ warmth grades. The compact fibres absorb hardly any moisture and dry very rapidly. Lining: NYLON TAFFETA, fibreproof A particularly tightly woven nylon taffeta fabric, used as a lining material in quilted garments.
