Half zip - but no half measures. It looks like a classic ski sweater with a straight-cut, body hugging fit and a stand-up zipped collar, but beneath the stylish exterior lies a groundbreaking functional fabric, MINI PIQUE Q.M.C. Soft to the touch and not prone to bunching up when worn as a base layer, the fabric also delivers fabulous moisture management performance, wicking moisture efficiently away from the skin allowing it to evaporate rapidly. Result: the skin is left feeling nice and dry and the wearer is protected against undercooling both during and after strenuous activity. The offset zip prevents uncomfortable chafing at the neck.
A thin polyester fabric with active moisture management capabilities, used predominantly in summer tops designed for sweat-inducing fast action sports. The mini pique structure on the contact side works as spacer and prevents clogging of fabric on the skin when sweating. Q.M.C. fabrics are made of cross section modified polyester yarns. This increases the transportation rate of moisture to the surface of the fabric where it is quickly spreads over a wide surface and thus readily evaporates.
