A highly functional polyester/viscose hybrid fabric with active moisture management capabilities. QMC fabrics consist of, or contain, special multi-channel fibres, i.e. fibres whose surface is not smooth and whose cross section is not round but structured. These structured fibres increase the effective surface area of the fabric and the capillary effect within the fabric. Moisture is thus more rapidly absorbed and transported through the fabric to dissipate and evaporate over a large surface area. The viscose content renders the garment particularly pleasant to wear in hot conditions. Q.M.C. garments are low maintenance and crease-resistant. Lining: Mesh Q.M.C. A polyester mesh fabric with active moisture management capabilities, used as a lining in back vents. Body moisture is wicked away to dissipate on the outer surface of the material.
