An extremely warm women’s down jacket with a super-soft, rustle-free and totally windproof STORMLOCK SMOOTHLIGHT 2L shell fabric and an insulating fill composed of premium quality 90/10 duck down and a layer of MICROGUARD SILVER. If you are heading outside for some high-octane sledging action in cold and windy conditions, this is the jacket to do it in. The LAKOTA JACKET has a neat, fitted shape and incorporates snug, wind block cuffs and a fleece lined collar.
BASIC HOODThe hood is attached to the collar of the jacket by means of press studs. When not required, the hood can be detached and stowed in a special pouch (HOOD POCKET) inside the jacket. The hood is anatomically shaped and has drawcord-adjustable volume and field of vision options. MICROGUARD SILVER MICROGUARD SILVER consists of three components and delivers effective and comfortable insulation at a minimum weight: 1. A layer of fine micro fibres to provide optimal insulation at a minimum weight, a soft feel and superb compressibility (MICRO). 2. A stabilising outer layer of thermally bonded mixed fibres to provide a good loft and durability (GUARD). 3. An additional thin layer of breathable fleece with bonded silver particles on the contact side. These silver particles reflect the heat generated by the body and improve the heat retention properties by up to 20% (Silver). 90/10 GREY DUCK DOWN, 575cuin For our down apparel we use finest quality European grey duck down with a 90/10 down/ feather mix and a 575cuin fill powe; the value indicates how many cubic inches( 1 cubic inch = 15.62 cm2) one ounce (28g) of down can fill. One ounce of down is placed in a measuring cylinder and pressure applied for 24 hours. The volume occupied by the sample is then measured. Our down is subjected to a specialised impregnation process (QUICK DRY) to render it less sensitive to moisture. Logolining, fibreproof A premuim quality soft polyester lining material that prevents down and fibre loss and features a discreet all-over pawprint logo. Used in our down and synthetic fibre fill jackets. STORMLOCK SMOOTHLIGHT 2L A windproof, high breathability, efficiently water repellent 2-ply material, consisting of a velvety polyamide face fabric with a non-rustle surface and a microporous coating in the reverse side. |
